LED screens, video walls and digital signage

A reception display, a venue screen and a presentation wall do different jobs. Start by identifying who will view the content, from where and under what lighting conditions. Direct-view LED, tiled displays and standalone commercial screens can then be compared for the use case. We help define display installation and integration around the room, content source and operating routine rather than simply the largest available screen.

Plan the image before choosing the equipment

Viewing distance, screen dimensions, pixel pitch and the content format all belong in the discussion. A presentation containing small text has different needs from a large promotional video. Provide examples of the material you expect to show and consider how it will look across the full viewing area. Brightness and control requirements should be assessed for the actual indoor or outdoor environment.

Mounting, power and signal distribution

The installation scope needs to include physical support, cable routes, power, control equipment and service access. Structural requirements and mounting responsibilities are reviewed for the site. Agree where the video processor or media player will sit, who controls the content and how the display connects to the business network. For event or meeting spaces, coordinate with AV and room-control systems.

Content operation, commissioning and maintenance

A display project is not finished when the screen turns on. Check source selection, content scaling, normal operating schedules and the tasks staff will perform. Define the handover, operator training and maintenance access. If spare components or ongoing support are needed, include them in the proposal.
