Description and results

Previous team experience. This work predates the Canadian operations of CL ELECTRIC. Client identity and location are withheld.
Project series: University campus. This is one component of a wider project, not a separate site.
Local network cabling and equipment cabinets formed a distinct work package within a university campus infrastructure project. Our team completed these works alongside the fibre network and entry-point systems described elsewhere in this series.
Local network connections
The completed local cabling package included 220 metres of UTP cable and a telecommunications cabinet. This was the copper-network portion of a wider installation, separate from the fibre routes connecting other equipment locations.
Equipment locations and route coordination
A campus installation involves both the routes between locations and the connections within each area. The cabinet and UTP work addressed the local infrastructure, while the related fibre package included an outdoor cabinet, cable joints and termination hardware.
Related electrical infrastructure
The wider scope also included 140 metres of power cable. Separating the power, copper-network and fibre work packages made it possible to describe each part of the installation clearly without treating them as unrelated customer projects.
Delivered work and practical scope
The result of this package was installed local cabling and cabinet infrastructure within the broader campus project. This account does not assign an unverified cable category or network speed to the installation. Its focus is the completed physical work and how it relates to the other campus systems.
